MJF paid Brian Cage to intentionally break Brian Danielson’s arm, preventing him from participating in the planned one-hour Iron Man match at AEW Revolution. MJF may have more plans in store.
Bryan Danielson won a closely contested match against Brian Cage on this week’s episode of Dynamite. However, after the match, Cage viciously attacked Danielson, breaking his arm.
MJF entered the ring and joined forces with Cage, but Konosuke Takeshita came to aid American Dragon. In a video promo, MJF declared that he would systematically defeat Bryan Danielson in their upcoming match.
It was revealed that Bryan Danielson’s next opponent would be former NXT wrestler Timothy Thatcher. AEW announced that Thatcher would make his AEW debut against Danielson on the upcoming episode of Dynamite next Wednesday.
The company aired a video package to promote the arrival of international star Timothy Thatcher. For those unfamiliar, Thatcher gained fame on the independent circuit before joining WWE in 2020.
On January 5, 2022, Timothy Thatcher was released from his contract. He then made his debut in Pro Wrestling NOAH on June 7, 2022.
