WWE Programming Returning to A&E

Published on

WWE’s non-wrestling programming is set to return on A&E on February 19, according to a report from PWInsider. The shows that will be returning include “Biography: WWE Legends,” “WWE Rivals,” and “WWE’s Most Wanted Treasures.” This news will likely be welcomed by fans of WWE and A&E.

This includes “Biography: WWE Legends,” “WWE Rivals,” and “WWE’s Most Wanted Treasures.” While no details have been provided about the subjects of the “Rivals” and “Most Wanted Treasures” episodes, three “Biography” topics have been named: Dusty Rhodes, Jake “The Snake” Roberts, and the nWo. It is unclear how many episodes will be in the third season of “Biography.” Still, if it is similar to the first two seasons (which had 8 and 9 episodes, respectively), there are likely several more subjects yet to be announced.

“Most Wanted Treasures,” a WWE programming show on A&E, has not aired since its first season in the spring of 2021. The host of the show, A.J. “Top Dolla” Francis, was released from WWE but later rehired. “Rivals,” another WWE show on A&E, has aired one season consisting of nine episodes, which aired last summer. It is unclear if new seasons of these shows have been filmed or if they will feature the same subjects as before.

In March 2021, WWE and A&E announced an extension of their broadcast deal that would result in 130 additional hours of programming. The deal included 35 additional episodes of “Biography,” 24 more episodes of “Most Wanted Treasures,” and 40 hours of “Rivals.” It is not clear if this programming has already been produced or if it will be part of the upcoming seasons of these shows.
