Creator Fest showcases new campaign structure and rewards
Summary
– WWE 2K26 introduces single-story MyRise mode titled The Comeback
– New RISE matches replace bonus Live Events and tie into progression
– Multiple unlockable characters and content confirmed
WWE 2K26 is less than a month away, and new details from Creator Fest have shed light on major changes coming to this year’s installment.
The latest Ringside Report focused heavily on MyRise mode. Players will experience a single campaign called The Comeback, playing as either a male or female Superstar known as The Archetype. The story centers on a return to WWE that quickly leads to confrontation with Paul Heyman’s clients, including Bron Breakker and Jordynne Grace.
A significant gameplay evolution comes in the form of RISE matches. These replace the previous Live Event bonus matches and are now integrated directly into the main story progression. Completing them advances the campaign while unlocking additional content.
MyRise also extends beyond the conclusion of the central storyline. Players can continue their careers freely, pursue championships, and defend titles after the main narrative wraps up.
Unlockables are a major focus this year. Confirmed rewards include new playable characters such as Dusty Rhodes, Bron Breakker, Juggernaut Grace, The Fiend Bray Wyatt, and an indie-era version of CM Punk. Additional rewards include MyFACTION content, arenas, weapons, and previously featured MyRise characters.
Creator Fest brought together streamers, journalists, and WWE talent to preview the game. CM Punk, Chelsea Green, Xavier Woods, Trish Stratus, Ethan Page, and others participated in interviews and gaming sessions. Content from the event is expected to roll out following the embargo lift.
WWE 2K26 launches March 6, 2026, on PS5, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam.
