Charlotte Flair-Tiffany Stratton brawl highlights a strong episode despite viewership drop

Summary

– April 11 episode of SmackDown averaged 1.551 million viewers on USA Network

– 18–49 demo rating dropped to 0.45 from last week’s 0.47

– Charlotte Flair attacked Tiffany Stratton in a heated post-match moment

The final edition of WWE SmackDown before WrestleMania 41 saw key storylines escalate, but ratings took a modest hit compared to the previous week.

According to Programming Insider, the April 11 episode drew 1.551 million viewers on the USA Network, down from 1.578 million on April 4. The show scored a 0.45 rating in the 18–49 demographic, representing a 4.3% drop from the previous week’s 0.47.

Despite the dip, the show delivered several major developments. Charlotte Flair escalated her feud with Tiffany Stratton after Stratton’s match with Roxanne Perez. Flair stormed the ring and launched a vicious attack that required multiple officials to restrain her, intensifying the buildup to their WrestleMania 41 clash.

Elsewhere on the show, Cody Rhodes brought up Brock Lesnar during his promo targeting John Cena, continuing the layered hype around their anticipated match next week.

Here’s a comparison of week-to-week viewership:

WWE SmackDown Ratings: April 11 vs. April 4, 2025
– Total Viewers: 1.551 million (down 1.7%)
– 18–49 Demo: 0.45 rating (down 4.3%)

With WrestleMania 41 just days away, WWE continues to build toward one of the year’s biggest weekends. While numbers dipped slightly, the intensity and anticipation for Night 1 remained high.
