Trish Stratus celebrates 25 years in professional wrestling by reflecting on the highs, hardships, and unforgettable memories that built her Hall of Fame career. In a new WWE retrospective, Stratus revisits the moments that defined her legacy, from debuting as the manager of T&A to headlining Monday Night Raw with Lita.

She opened up about her early days on the road, training secretly while adjusting to WWE’s intense travel schedule. Stratus revealed that her iconic cowgirl-inspired look came from a Long Island mall the day she debuted alongside Test and Albert.

Over the years, Stratus broke barriers and transformed the perception of women in wrestling. One of her proudest early moments was going through a table during a segment with Bubba Ray Dudley, proving she was willing to do whatever it took to tell the story. Her rivalry with Lita became legendary, and their 2004 Raw main event was the first time two women headlined the show.

Stratus also shared what it meant to win the Women’s Championship during a six-pack challenge at Survivor Series and how her move, the springboard bulldog, became a signature part of her matches. Her retirement match in Toronto, where she used the Sharpshooter to defeat Lita, was a fitting tribute to her Canadian roots—and earned praise from Bret Hart.

She later returned for several milestones, including the first Women’s Royal Rumble and her first ladder match during Money in the Bank in the UK. Her recent rivalry with Becky Lynch culminated in a brutal steel cage match that Stratus considers a career highlight.

Now 25 years into her career, Stratus remains grateful for her fans and the women who followed in her footsteps. Her journey from fitness model to pioneer has redefined what it means to be a WWE Superstar.
