AEW Dynasty 2025 Nears Sellout After Late Ticket Surge in Philadelphia

Ticket sales surpass 2024’s total as buzz builds ahead of pay-per-view

Summary

– AEW Dynasty 2025 has distributed 7,020 tickets with only 555 remaining

– Capacity was expanded due to demand, including full opening of Section 208

– The total already surpasses last year’s Dynasty attendance in St. Louis

Hours before AEW Dynasty 2025 goes live, the Liacouras Center in Philadelphia is nearly sold out. After weeks of slow ticket movement, AEW has reversed course in a big way—moving over 7,000 tickets and opening additional seating.

According to a morning report on April 6 from WrestleTix, AEW has distributed 7,020 tickets, with just 555 still available. The current setup now allows for 7,575 seats after the full opening of Section 208.

Two weeks ago, only 4,320 tickets were reported to have been sold. This late surge has filled the building and surpassed last year’s Dynasty attendance in St. Louis, which capped at 6,619 fans.

AEW’s local promotion had been questioned early on, with little visible advertising across the wrestling-heavy city. Criticism also mounted over limited match announcements. But a wave of late interest and key additions to the card have shifted the momentum.

AEW Dynasty takes place tonight and features top bouts, including Jon Moxley vs. Swerve Strickland, Kenny Omega defending the International Title in a triple threat, and Mercedes Moné’s AEW in-ring debut in the Owen Hart Cup.
