The NXT star challenges Bayley to step up and prove she’s still championship material

Summary

– Roxanne Perez appeared on SmackDown to watch Bayley’s match against Tiffany Stratton

– In a backstage interview, Perez mocked Bayley’s loss and questioned if she still has what it takes

– Perez invited Bayley to return to NXT for a face-to-face confrontation

Roxanne Perez isn’t backing down from Bayley and is now taking the fight to her. The NXT star felt her presence during the January 17 episode of SmackDown, watching closely as Bayley competed against WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton. This followed their heated exchange on NXT earlier in the week.

After SmackDown, Perez spoke in a digital exclusive interview, clearly stating she wasn’t there as a fan. “Everyone knows that I’m such a huge, huge fan of Bayley, so I was just so excited to come out here and have a front-row seat to watch her fail miserably, which she did,” she said, taking a direct shot at the veteran.

Perez then invited Bayley to appear on NXT again on January 21. But she didn’t stop there. She questioned whether Bayley has what it takes anymore, flipping the narrative in their growing rivalry.

“I always thought that I was the big fan, but it seems like she’s actually mine since she wants to show up at my show and stick her nose in my business. So yeah, Bayley. Come on down. Come back and maybe this time around, I can give you some notes on how to be a champion since I don’t think you got it anymore.”

The challenge has been made, and now all eyes are on Bayley to see if she responds. If she accepts, things could escalate quickly when these two finally meet again.
