Matt Hardy set to debut in GCW on August 2

Matt Hardy is set to wrestle his first match under the GCW (Game Changer Wrestling) banner on the night before WWE SummerSlam. GCW announced Hardy’s participation for the Now and Forever event, which will occur on Friday, August 2, in Cleveland. Although Hardy’s opponent has yet to be announced, the event promises an exciting lineup with appearances from several notable wrestlers.

In addition to Hardy, the card will feature matches with Zilla Fatu facing Josh Bishop, a three-way bout between Mance Warner, Joey Janela, and Nick Gage, as well as appearances by Maki Itoh, Matt Cardona, Gringo Loco, and the tag team Bussy. The event will be available to watch live on FiteTV.

Hardy left AEW and entered free agency following the expiration of his contract in April of this year. He appeared in TNA at the Rebellion event on April 20 and has since been active in the wrestling scene, including reuniting with his brother Jeff Hardy in TNA and reviving his popular “Broken Universe” gimmick.
