Summary
– Karrion Kross reflects on his failed main roster debut and scrapped plans with Jeff Hardy.

– The plans have yet to materialize despite their efforts, frustrating fans and wrestlers.
Karrion Kross had a brilliant time in NXT, but his initial main roster run in 2021 was simply a failure for many fans. This included a short-lived program with Jeff Hardy, and Kross has now revealed scrapped plans with Hardy.
During Karrion Kross’ main roster debut on Monday Night RAW in 2021, he squared off against Jeff Hardy in a singles match. Karrion Kross lost the match in a very short time after Jeff Hardy won with a roll-up pin. Naturally, this upset many fans who couldn’t believe that something like this had happened to Karrion Kross.
Karrion Kross took to Twitter and responded to a fan who reacted to Kross’ initial reaction to facing Jeff Hardy in 2021. Kross revealed he and Hardy fought hard to have a proper program where the blow-off match would have occurred at Extreme Rules that year in a TLC match, but it never happened.
“Lol
They wouldn’t tell Jeff all day whether they’d play it, and we were both annoyed about the apprehension of doing it. Jeff and I wanted to carry this to Extreme Rules to blow off the match in a TLC. We both tried to fight for it, but no luck.
Maybe one day… ⏳”
Karrion Kross even made a surprise appearance during a Jeff Hardy concert last year, so there’s a lot of mutual respect between the two. Regardless, we’ll have to see what’s next in store for Kross, as a future feud with Hardy might not happen anytime soon.
The inner fan of @realKILLERkross broke out here for a second, and I love it so much 😭 https://t.co/okMGI2AwaW
