“The Man” Finds Humor in Her Placement on the Prestigious List
The Pro Wrestling Illustrated (PWI) 250 list, which ranks the top 250 female wrestlers globally for 2023, was recently unveiled, sparking discussions and debates among fans and wrestlers alike. One notable reaction came from WWE’s Becky Lynch, who found her placement on the list rather amusing.
Rhea Ripley secured the top spot on the list, with “The Nightmare” and Bianca Belair being the sole WWE representatives in the top 10. Becky Lynch, however, was ranked 29th, a position she seemingly found laughable. Responding to a post about her ranking, Lynch used a series of laughing emojis, followed by a plug for her upcoming autobiography, “Becky Lynch: The Man – Not Your Average Girl,” which is currently available for pre-order.
While WWE has historically refrained from referencing PWI lists on their broadcasts, it remains to be seen if this will change under Triple H’s creative leadership. Regardless of her ranking on the list, Becky Lynch continues to be a dominant force in WWE. She currently holds the NXT Women’s Championship and is scheduled to face Lyra Valkyria at NXT’s Halloween Havoc Night 1 on October 24th.
The PWI 250 list serves as a reminder of the incredible talent in women’s wrestling today. While rankings can be subjective, the passion and dedication of these athletes are undeniable.
