Sinclair came out aggressively, sending Jordan to the floor and keeping the pressure on around ringside. Jordan eventually shifted the momentum by targeting Sinclair’s arm and wrist, including applying a Fujiwara armbar.
Sinclair escaped multiple submission attempts and kept Jordan in danger with rollups and an overhead butterfly suplex. Jordan removed the protective covering from a turnbuckle, and it later became part of the title match’s closing stretch.
