Knight Reflects on His Rapid Ascent in the Wrestling World
LA Knight, formerly known as Eli Drake in TNA, has been making waves in the WWE. After years of hard work in TNA and a brief stint in NWA, Knight’s transition to WWE has seen his popularity skyrocket. Despite his rapid rise, he’s still awaiting that defining moment in WWE, but his fan base continues to grow, testament to his undeniable charisma and talent.
In a recent appearance on Breakfast Television, LA Knight opened up about his journey. He confidently stated, “I don’t want to toot my own horn, but I’ll go ahead and say that this is probably the quickest climb in the history of the business.” Reflecting on his career trajectory, Knight emphasized his explosive growth since joining the SmackDown roster in October. He added, “It’s been enormous. I didn’t plan on it. How could you plan for it? But I’m just going to keep doing what I’m doing because obviously, that’s working.”
Knight’s self-assuredness is evident, and he’s determined to reach the pinnacle of WWE. He remarked, “Whether they want to boo me or cheer me doesn’t make a difference to me. I’m going to go out there, do my thing, and keep pushing. And I’m going to get myself to the top.”
Interestingly, many fans might be unaware that LA Knight was the final client of the legendary Paul Bearer before his passing. As Knight continues his ascent in WWE, fans eagerly await his next big move.
