The Queen Contemplates Potential Opponents for the Grandest Stage
Charlotte Flair, a dominant force in the world of professional wrestling, is already setting her sights on the next big event – WrestleMania 40. Having previously headlined a WrestleMania, Flair is eager to take center stage once again. In a recent interview with Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated, she named Becky Lynch, Bianca Belair, and Mercedes Mone (known to many as Sasha Banks) as potential opponents she’d like to face.
Flair had high praise for Mercedes Mone, currently signed with NJPW, hinting at a potential showdown at WrestleMania XL. Despite Mone’s current ankle injury and her last televised bout with Flair dating back to 2019, the anticipation for such a match is palpable. Flair also expressed admiration for Bianca Belair’s tenure as champion, lauding her professionalism and dedication. She confidently stated that a match against Belair, whether at WrestleMania 40, 41, or 42, is inevitable.
WrestleMania 40 is scheduled for April 6 and 7 in Philadelphia, and fans are eagerly awaiting to see if Flair’s predictions come to fruition.
