From Catchphrases to Chart-Topping Sales: LA Knight’s WWE Journey
LA Knight, a standout talent in WWE, has been making waves in the ring and on the merchandise front. In 2023, Knight’s star shone even brighter as he climbed the ranks of WWE’s top merchandise sellers. While Cody Rhodes has been a consistent chart-topper, LA Knight’s digital sales have been impressive, especially through third-party outlets. Some of Knight’s individual shirt sales are on par with heavyweights like Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns.
The Bloodline faction, which previously combined sales for Roman Reigns, the Usos, and the entire group, has now separated their merchandise. This has led to the Usos surpassing almost all other sales talents, except Cody Rhodes. Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, and Rhea Ripley have also been frequent names on the top-selling lists. Generic WWE merchandise, including title belts and tour shirts, remains a consistent best-seller.
However, the spotlight is firmly on LA Knight. His catchphrases, “lemma talk to ya” and “yeah,” which he’s been using long before his WWE tenure, have resonated with fans. There’s anticipation around whether WWE will allow him to reintroduce the “dummy” catchphrase, which he’s teased in the past.
