Bully Ray Praises LA Knight’s Unique Connection with Fans and Impact on WWE
LA Knight has been making waves since his debut at NXT TakeOver: Vengeance Day on February 14th, 2021. Despite a lukewarm initial reception on the main roster, Knight has since won over fans and is now a popular figure in the WWE universe. His unique ability to connect with the audience, largely due to his exceptional skills on the microphone, has not gone unnoticed by industry veterans.
WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray, while speaking on Busted Open Radio, lauded LA Knight for his character work. He highlighted Knight’s distinctive energy, which he believes is beneficial for WWE.
Bully Ray said, “There’s a different sound coming out of the arenas when LA Knight is there. Cody has that love, LA Knight has that passion. People are behind Cody because of his hard times, his trials and tribulations and what he’s going through right now. LA Knight is just fun to watch, fun to listen to, fun to chant with. People have huge smiles on their faces when LA Knight is coming into the arena, because they know they’re gonna get something. To me, it’s a different kind of energy, which is good for the WWE, because you don’t want two guys fighting for that same energy.”
LA Knight is set to participate in the SummerSlam Battle Royal next week. It remains to be seen how WWE will handle his character after the Premium Live Event concludes, but fans are certainly rooting for him.
