The Lioness of NXT Updates Fans on Her Recovery Progress, Promises Triumphant Return

Nikkita Lyons, one of the most popular stars on the NXT roster, has been sidelined due to an injury. Known as the Lioness of NXT, Lyons has had multiple shots at the NXT Women’s Tag Team Championship alongside Zoey Stark, but has yet to clinch the title. Currently out of action, Lyons has revealed that she needs more time to make her in-ring return.

Lyons was mysteriously attacked in NXT’s notorious parking lot on the January 24, 2023, episode of the white and gold brand. It was later disclosed that Lyons had suffered a torn MCL, necessitating a break from NXT television for surgery and recovery.

After undergoing successful surgery, Lyons has been off NXT television for six months. Recently, she took to Twitter to update fans on her condition, stating that she still needs more time to return to the squared circle.

“I miss you 🦁 I’m on my way, just a little more time 🙏🏼 @WWENXT @WWE @USANetwork #ThePounceBack”

Fans eagerly await the triumphant return of Nikkita Lyons to the ring, and we wish her a speedy and full recovery.
