NXT Women’s Champion Expresses Her Views on Main Roster Talent’s Presence on NXT
Tiffany Stratton, who has made a name for herself as one of the top superstars in NXT’s women’s division since her debut in 2021, has shared her views on the presence of main roster talent on NXT. Stratton, who recently won the NXT Women’s Title, believes that NXT can thrive without the need for main roster appearances.
Stratton’s championship win came during the NXT Battleground Premium Live Event, where she faced Lyra Valkyria in the finals of the NXT Women’s Title tournament. After a fiercely contested match, it was Stratton who emerged victorious.
In recent weeks, NXT has seen an increase in appearances from main roster talent, including Baron Corbin, Mustafa Ali, and The Judgment Day. However, Stratton is still determining the necessity of these appearances.
In an interview with TV Insider, Stratton discussed the ongoing youth movement in NXT’s women’s division. She expressed her belief that NXT should primarily focus on its own talent, stating:
“I think we have a really good women’s division at NXT. I think it’s one of the better ones compared to Raw and SmackDown… I definitely feel like it’s not needed. I feel like NXT should just be for the girls in NXT and the NXT division. But it does help a lot to have someone like Rhea Ripley come down, Dana Brooke, Nattie Neidhart to help the NXT girls and guide them through things and help establish them better. I do think it’s a big help though.”
Stratton also made an appearance on this week’s episode of Friday Night Smackdown. As we wait to see how her storyline develops in the coming weeks, her stance on the role of main roster talent in NXT is clear.
