The outspoken Aussie Grayson Waller shares his experience of facing WWE Hall of Famer Edge in his main roster debut
Grayson Waller, the brash and outspoken Aussie WWE star, recently made his main roster in-ring debut on the July 7 episode of Smackdown. But this wasn’t just any match – Waller faced the returning Edge in the main event at Madison Square Garden. Since then, Waller has been vocal about his experience.
On WWE’s The Bump, Waller shared his thoughts on his debut against the beloved WWE Hall of Famer. He declared that he had the biggest week in the history of WWE for one performer. Waller’s week included interviewing internet sensation Logan Paul, verbally jousting with John Cena at Money in the Bank, and finally going one-on-one with the Rated R Superstar.
Despite his recent broken leg, Waller performed commendably against Edge. “Congrats Edge, you beat 60% Grayson Waller. I’d love to see what you can do against 100% Grayson Waller because I guarantee that spear isn’t enough,” Waller confidently stated.
Waller also expressed his appreciation for the respect given to him by Edge, a grizzled veteran of the business. He said, “For someone like Edge to basically tell the world he’s as good as he says he is, that meant a lot.”
