A showdown with Lash Legend decides the ladder match
Summary
– Tiffany Stratton defeated five opponents to win the women’s briefcase
– Sol Ruca, Roxanne Perez, and Lash Legend threatened to secure victory
– Stratton knocked Legend off the ladder before retrieving the contract
Tiffany Stratton secured a future championship opportunity by winning the women’s Money in the Bank ladder match on October 10. She outlasted Jacy Jayne, Lola Vice, Lash Legend, Roxanne Perez, and Sol Ruca before retrieving the briefcase.
Legend became an immediate target as the other competitors tried to contain her power. Perez and Jayne introduced ladders, and the fight quickly spread around ringside.
Stratton took an early risk with a swanton from a ladder onto opponents outside the ring. Her head struck the floor during the landing, but she continued competing.
Ruca and Stratton exchanged athletic counters before Tiffany was sent into a ladder. Jayne then catapulted Ruca into the steel and followed with a cannonball, while Vice and Perez battled over another ladder.
Perez gained momentum with an enzuigiri and a double-jump moonsault onto Ruca and Legend as they lay across a ladder. Stratton stopped her subsequent climb and answered with an Alabama Slam.
Another scramble left Ruca hanging from the briefcase after Jayne tipped a ladder. Ruca eventually dropped into a back senton onto Legend, Jayne, and Stratton below.
Legend responded with a double chokeslam that drove Perez and Stratton onto a ladder. Vice later kicked Legend onto a ladder bridge, allowing Ruca to deliver a frog splash through it.
Vice and Jayne also fought high above the ring, with Lola applying a rear-naked choke before both women fell onto a ladder beneath them.
Perez appeared close to victory after hitting Pop Rox on Stratton, but Ruca interrupted her climb with a Sol Snatcher off the ladder. Legend then powerbombed Ruca onto another ladder, clearing the way for the final exchange.
Stratton and Legend climbed together and traded strikes near the top. Tiffany used the hanging briefcase to strike Legend, knock her off, and unhook the contract.
After surviving repeated setbacks, Stratton finished the night as Ms. Money in the Bank. The briefcase gives her a championship opportunity whenever she chooses.
