A Destroyer on a ladder takes Bron Breakker out of contention
Summary
– Penta defeated five opponents to become Mr. Money in the Bank
– Je’Von Evans returned in an ambulance before crashing through its roof
– Penta stopped Bron Breakker with a Destroyer before retrieving the briefcase
Penta won the men’s Money in the Bank ladder match on October 10, overcoming Bron Breakker, Trick Williams, Je’Von Evans, CM Punk, and Kevin Owens to secure a future championship opportunity.
The match quickly split into several battles. Punk and Owens targeted each other, while Breakker used German suplexes and ladder attacks to prevent his opponents from gaining ground.
Penta delivered an early flip dive onto Punk and connected with several kicks, but Breakker repeatedly interrupted his momentum. Bron also threw Evans and Williams around while shutting down attempts to reach the briefcase.
Evans suffered the first major setback when Breakker caught his dive with a midair spear. Officials checked on him before a stretcher arrived, and he was loaded into an ambulance and taken away.
The remaining competitors continued fighting. Owens powerbombed Punk onto a ladder, Penta stopped Williams with superkicks, and Punk hit Penta with the Go 2 Sleep. Owens then halted Punk’s climb with a thumb to the eye.
Breakker regained control with another series of attacks, eventually spearing Punk and Owens through the ringside barricade.
The ambulance then returned to ringside, bringing Evans back into the match. Evans struck Breakker with its door before launching a comeback built around punches, kicks, and springboard offense.
His second attempt ended when Breakker tipped the ladder over, sending Evans crashing through the ambulance roof.
With Evans down again, Breakker positioned a giant ladder and began climbing. Penta pulled him back down, landed a thrust kick, and arranged another ladder as a bridge.
Their final exchange left Breakker on the bridged ladder, where Penta delivered a Destroyer. That gave Penta the opening to climb and retrieve the briefcase.
Penta left with the contract after surviving Breakker’s sustained attacks and the chaos surrounding his other opponents. He now holds the opportunity to cash in for a championship match, adding a new threat to WWE’s title picture.
