In a candid discussion on ‘Oh You Didn’t Know?’ podcast, ‘Road Dogg’ Brian James shares his thoughts on the new WWE titles.
In a recent episode of the ‘Oh You Didn’t Know?’ podcast, ‘Road Dogg’ Brian James, a WWE legend, shared his thoughts on the new WWE titles. James, who has a deep respect for the tradition of the sport, praised the new titles for their nod to the past.
“I think it’s exactly what Hunter has always been a traditionalist from his training with Kowalski to his mentoring by Flair to his everything he’s done has been with respect to tradition in this industry,” James said. He added that the new titles are not just copies of past designs, but innovative in their own right.
James also commented on the size and design of the new titles. “I love the new titles. They’re huge, they’re beautiful, but yet they’re big and plain too, and I think that’s tradition,” he said. He compared the new titles to past designs, such as the big eagle and the big spinner, stating that the new titles go back to what a championship title looks like.
Despite the inevitable backlash from some fans, James maintained a positive outlook. “I’m sure the internet will hate me for that too. Guess what, we’re recording it’s Sunday so you can hate me all day today and then tomorrow’s Monday you can hate me that day too,” he quipped.
James concluded by reminding listeners that change is inevitable. “Spoiler alert, it’s going to change again in the future. It’s changed all the time, so if you don’t like it, stick around, maybe you like the next one,” he said.
