WWE Hall of Famer Goldberg, a significant figure in the wrestling business, remains a free agent after his WWE contract expires. Despite not having competed in a match for a considerable period, Goldberg has expressed his desire for a retirement tour.
As exclusively reported by Ringside News, Goldberg is dissatisfied with the current status of his retirement match. It was also revealed that WWE does not consider Goldberg’s retirement match a priority.
On his 83 Weeks podcast, fellow WWE Hall of Famer Eric Bischoff weighed in on Goldberg’s potential retirement tour. Bischoff outlined two possible scenarios – one positive and one negative. However, he expressed concern that Goldberg’s retirement tour could turn into a disaster.
“I think it could also be a f***ing nightmare, and I wouldn’t go near it with a ten-foot pole, but that’s just me. The critical issue is does he have the right promoting partner?”
In a recent development, Ryback has challenged Goldberg to a retirement match. With Tony Khan also showing interest in Goldberg, it remains to be seen whether Goldberg will accept Ryback’s challenge and how his retirement tour will unfold.
