AEW Rampage Sees Ratings and Audience Surge on Return to Regular Timeslot

Published on

AEW Rampage is back in its regular timeslot, and the numbers show a positive trend. The wrestling show, which returned to its 10 PM ET slot last week after a hiatus since mid-April, saw a significant uptick in ratings and audience numbers.

The show garnered a 0.11 rating in the 18 – 49 demographic and attracted 436,000 viewers. These figures represent a 22.2% and 48.8% increase, respectively, from the previous week’s 0.09 demo rating and audience of 293,000.

This performance marks the best for Rampage in over a month. The demo rating is the highest since the April 21st Saturday airing, which had a 0.12 demo rating. The audience number is the best since the April 14th airing (in the regular timeslot), which had 639,000 viewers.

In the cable originals ranking, Rampage secured 13th, according to Showbuzz Daily. ESPN’s Pardon The Interruption, aired at 5 PM ET, topped the night with a 0.16 rating and 527,000 viewers.

Comparing year-on-year figures, Rampage is averaging a 0.121 demo rating and 410,000 viewers in 2023, slightly lower than the 0.185 demo rating and 483,000 viewers for the same period in 2022.

The return to its regular timeslot has given AEW Rampage a much-needed boost, and it will be interesting to see if the show can maintain this momentum in the coming weeks.
