Trish Stratus Clarifies Her Absence from WWE RAW

Published on

Trish Stratus, a renowned WWE Hall of Famer and a trailblazer in the world of pro wrestling, has been capturing attention with her heated rivalry against Becky Lynch. However, her absence from the latest episode of RAW left fans curious. To address the situation, Stratus turned to Twitter, providing insight into her absence and clarifying the reasons behind her no-show on the program.

After losing the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships on a previous episode of Monday Night RAW, Stratus shockingly turned heel on Becky Lynch, igniting a fierce rivalry between the two. Their animosity continued to escalate, with physical altercations occurring, including a recent brawl after last week’s RAW when Lynch made her return.

During this week’s RAW, The Man challenged Trish Stratus to a match at Night of Champions, which was swiftly accepted. However, Stratus was noticeably absent from the show. In response to fans’ inquiries, the WWE Hall of Famer took to Twitter to address her absence, revealing that she was occupied with receiving the Key to the City of Niagara Falls, a prestigious honor. She also mentioned her enthusiasm for Canada’s Got Talent, where she witnessed her Golden Buzzer pick emerge victorious.

Stratus tweeted, “Sorry I couldn’t make #WWERaw, folks. I was doing Big Time things like getting the Key to the City of Niagara Falls… home of Canada’s Got Talent, where I watched my #GoldenBuzzer pick WIN! #Thriving #BigTimeTrish. Did I miss anything from Monday?”

As previously reported, Lynch and Stratus are scheduled to participate in a contract signing for their highly anticipated Night of Champions match on the upcoming episode of WWE RAW. Wrestling enthusiasts eagerly await the outcome of this segment as the intensity between these two competitors reaches its peak.
