Paul can throw clotheslines, but is not ready for a full return
Summary
– Logan Paul says he has been semi-cleared during his triceps recovery
– Doctors have allowed him to begin throwing clotheslines again
– Paul has also returned to the gym after dealing with muscle atrophy
Logan Paul has taken another step toward returning to WWE after revealing that he is now “semi cleared” during his recovery from triceps surgery.
Paul shared the update during his latest vlog while speaking with Liv Morgan. He initially said he had been cleared, then quickly clarified that doctors have not yet approved him for a full return to wrestling.
What Paul can do is begin throwing clotheslines again. He described the limited permission as being semi-cleared, giving him another wrestling-related milestone as he works his way back from the injury.
Paul has also returned to the gym after spending much of his recovery avoiding serious training. He explained that he deliberately did not train his healthy arm heavily to avoid creating a major strength imbalance while the injured side continued to heal.
That approach resulted in some muscle atrophy, but Paul is now beginning to rebuild his strength more evenly. He said the goal is to work both sides back into shape together rather than having one arm considerably stronger than the other.
Paul suffered a torn triceps during a WWE World Tag Team Championship match at Saturday Night’s Main Event and initially faced an estimated recovery of around six months. By July, he said doctors had told him he was roughly three months ahead of the original schedule.
A full medical clearance has not been announced, and Paul still has work ahead before returning to an actual WWE match. Being able to train again and resume limited wrestling movements, however, represents another significant step toward getting back in the ring.
