– Vaquer hits Devil’s Kiss and final finisher after countering Pop Rocks

The NXT Women’s Championship was on the line during the April 22 episode of WWE NXT. Stephanie Vaquer defended her title against former champion Roxanne Perez in a highly anticipated main event from the Fontainebleau Las Vegas.
Perez entered determined to prove she still belonged at the top, but Vaquer rode strong momentum despite dealing with a dislocated thumb suffered at Stand & Deliver. The bout had a big-fight feel, with special introductions and intense crowd energy.
The match was physical, spilling outside the ring and onto the entrance ramp. Vaquer delivered a slingshot attack off the ropes and later connected with her signature Devil’s Kiss to stun Perez. Booker T, watching from commentary, lit up at the execution of the move.
Perez fought back with a crossface and nearly won with multiple roll-up attempts. But when she went for Pop Rocks, Vaquer blocked it and responded with a dragon screw and her finishing strike to retain the title.
Following the match, Giulia entered the arena to confront the champion while Jordynne Grace watched from the crowd. Vaquer’s reign is about to face even more pressure, with challengers circling.
