Liv Morgan made her stance clear ahead of WrestleMania 41 night two—Raquel Rodriguez is not holding her back.
During a Fanatics Live signing with Tyler Breeze, Morgan responded to fans questioning her partnership with Rodriguez. She fired back with confidence and pride in their team.
“I think that is a very bold and assumptious question to ask,” Morgan said. “Raquel is not holding me back. If anything, Raquel lifts me up.”
Morgan urged fans to give Rodriguez credit for their success. “Give my sister some credit and her flowers,” she continued. “We are the first and only history-making, record-breaking, three-time Women’s Tag Team Champions. That makes us the greatest Women’s Tag Team Champions of all-time!”
Originally set to face Bayley and Lyra Valkyria, the match was thrown into question after Bayley was attacked backstage and ruled out. Valkyria has 24 hours to find a new partner for the WrestleMania title match.
