Raw’s Netflix debut delivered big numbers, but the momentum might be slipping
Summary
– WWE Raw drew 4.9M global Live+1 views for its Netflix premiere on Jan 6
– Viewership dropped to 2.8M for April 7, sliding down Netflix’s Top 10 chart
– April 14 viewership data won’t be released until April 22
WWE Monday Night Raw made history when it launched on Netflix on January 6, 2025, with a sold-out show from the Intuit Dome that drew a staggering 4.9 million global Live+1 views and 2.6 million U.S. households. The move started a landmark $5 billion, 10-year deal between Netflix and TKO Group Holdings.
While the debut created a global buzz, weekly numbers have begun to settle. Raw hovered around 3 million global views in the weeks following, but the April 7 episode saw a slight dip to 2.8 million. That performance pushed Raw to number ten on Netflix’s global English-language TV chart, putting its Top 10 status at risk.
Fans and industry insiders are now focused on the April 14 episode. However, Netflix releases its rankings every Tuesday based on “Hours Viewed” and “Views,” which won’t share that data until April 22. With Raw slipping in the rankings, the April 14 numbers could determine whether the red brand maintains its visibility on the platform.
