WWE Superstar R-Truth brought his signature energy to Las Vegas as part of Cricket Wireless’ Small Business Superstars series. He joined local legend Frankie D of Frankie D’s Bar-B-Que at the Boys and Girls Club to help prep and serve meals to the community—and got a crash course in barbecue greatness.
Frankie, who started his food truck in 2019, walked R-Truth through cutting ribs, smoking pork shoulders, and bottling his signature sauce. “Been barbecuing over 30 years,” Frankie said. “Food brings people together.” R-Truth got hands-on in the kitchen, laughing with Frankie and his family-run team while learning how to deliver the perfect bite.
The day wrapped with Frankie and R-Truth feeding dozens of kids and families, handing out pulled pork and chicken sandwiches made fresh from the truck. Cricket awarded Frankie a $5,000 grant for his community impact and dedication as a surprise finale.
R-Truth closed out the episode by encouraging fans to catch Frankie D’s BBQ in Las Vegas Thursday through Saturday—and to keep supporting the small businesses making big differences in their neighborhoods.
