Tiffany Stratton is preparing for the biggest night of her career as she defends the WWE Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 41 against Charlotte Flair. In an interview on Onefall, Stratton shared her thoughts on the pressure, the build, and how much this moment means to her.
“When I got called up, I was nervous. I didn’t think people would know who I was,” Stratton admitted. But after her showing at Elimination Chamber and a strong run with the Money in the Bank briefcase, she’s earned her spot. “I didn’t expect to be champion my first year. That wasn’t on my bingo card.”
Stratton says the match with Charlotte is more than just another title defense—it’s personal. “She’s the reason I got into wrestling. She was my idol. This goes back way before the last six weeks.”
The match has had a slow but fiery build, including a standout brawl that ran through an entire episode of SmackDown. “I think we’ve done a great job making fans care about our story,” she said. “Now I just want to go out there and steal the show.”
Stratton also revealed that she’ll debut new gear at WrestleMania—with a splash of pink—but has two versions made just in case. And while the pressure of being 25, holding a title, and defending it on the biggest stage can be overwhelming, she’s doing her best to stay grounded. “Now that the hard part is done, I’m trying to be in the moment and soak it all in.”
Stratton says her goal is simple: to create a match that stands out and cements her place in the next generation. “I want people to remember this the same way they remember Charlotte vs. Rhea. That’s the standard.”
