Lynch says she’s not wrestling “right now,” despite new WWE contract
Summary
– Becky Lynch confirmed she will not wrestle at WrestleMania 41
– She addressed fans during an improv show in Los Angeles on April 11
– Lynch recently signed a new WWE contract and teased a future return
Becky Lynch has officially ruled herself out of WrestleMania 41. Speaking live at The Ultimate Improv Show in Los Angeles on April 11, Lynch addressed her status in front of fans, saying she’s not wrestling anymore—at least for now.
“It’s WrestleMania season, isn’t it?” Lynch said. “Look, I’m not wrestling anymore… maybe one day, but not right now — but my husband is!” The crowd responded with surprise before Lynch pointed to Seth Rollins’ upcoming match, confirming only one member of the power couple will be in action this year.
Lynch has been off WWE television since May 27, 2024, and while her absence has sparked speculation, WWE insiders confirmed she has already signed a new contract with the company. That ensures that her in-ring future will remain with WWE, even if she won’t be stepping into the spotlight at WrestleMania.
Though fans won’t see Big Time Becks compete in Las Vegas next week, her comments and new deal hint that her return is still a matter of “when,” not “if.”
