Reedus joins global creatives to spotlight bold storytelling at French TV festival

Norman Reedus is set to lead the main competition jury at this year’s Canneseries TV festival, where he’ll help spotlight standout television worldwide. The Walking Dead actor, known globally as Daryl Dixon, will judge alongside a diverse group of creatives, including Pachinko showrunner Soo Hugh, Emmy-winning composer Jeff Russo, Spanish actress Lola Dueñas, and French stars Louise Bourgoin and César Domboy.
The Canneseries lineup showcases global storytelling, with entries from Norway, Belgium, South Korea, Finland, and more. Among the series competing are the Icelandic thriller Reykjavik Fusion, Belgian-German dramedy How to Kill Your Sister, and Korean sci-fi S Line.
In keeping with its progressive mission, Canneseries reaffirmed its commitment to inclusion and diversity, describing its platform as “a festival of its time” and a place where “diversity is not a trend, but a necessity.”
Out of competition, the festival will host the world premiere of The Walking Dead: Dead City Season 2, along with international premieres of Max’s Duster, The Agency from Showtime/Paramount+, and The Count of Monte Cristo from RAI and France Télévisions.
