Lesnar enjoys downtime at Atlanta event as WWE future stays uncertain
Summary
– Brock Lesnar appeared backstage at a comedy show in Atlanta
– WWE return plans halted due to legal issues surrounding Vince McMahon
– Lesnar remains off WWE TV since SummerSlam 2023
Brock Lesnar has kept out of the WWE spotlight since his loss to Cody Rhodes at SummerSlam 2023, and there are no signs of that changing soon. However, the former WWE Champion recently made a rare public appearance that surprised fans.
Lesnar was seen backstage at a “Dr. Phil is Live” comedy show held at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre in Atlanta on March 30. A fan who attended the event shared a selfie taken with Lesnar, who was relaxed and smiling in a Lynyrd Skynyrd shirt.
Though the sighting created a buzz, it doesn’t signal any immediate return to WWE. Lesnar was originally scheduled for the 2024 Royal Rumble, but WWE pulled those plans after his name appeared in a lawsuit involving Vince McMahon. While Lesnar hasn’t been accused of wrongdoing, WWE has distanced itself due to the sensitive nature of the case.
Lesnar was spotted in Austin, Texas, with his daughter Mya during his time away from wrestling. When asked about a comeback, he said, “We’ll see.” Currently, there’s no clear timeline for a return, and WWE reportedly won’t revisit plans until the legal matter is resolved.
Lesnar’s future in WWE remains a question mark, but for now, he seems content enjoying life outside the ring.
