Sydney Park, known to fans as Cyndie from The Walking Dead, is entering a new kind of horror. The actress has joined the cast of Halloween Store, a comedy-horror film that recently wrapped filming in Hawaii.
The movie is set inside a costume shop called Shriek Shack, where a group of people becomes trapped during a deadly encounter with a masked killer. Park plays Zoe, a lovable slacker who happens to be a horror expert—and she may be the group’s best chance at surviving.
The ensemble includes Simon Rex, Natalie Alyn Lind, Kai Caster, Anthony Michael Hall, Thomas Dekker, and Nicholas Hamilton. The project is directed by Shane Dax Taylor and written by Chad Law and Josh Ridgway, with Kenan Thompson and Steven Schneider on board as executive producers.
