Published on

Dynamite gains momentum with highest audience since January

Summary

– AEW Dynamite averaged 663,000 viewers on TBS, up 0.8 percent from last week

– The 18-49 demo dropped to a 0.17 rating, down 10.5 percent from the previous episode

– Year-over-year comparison shows an 11.2 percent drop in overall viewership

AEW Dynamite saw a minor increase in total viewership on Wednesday night, drawing 663,000 viewers. This is the largest audience since January 15 and the second-best showing since November 13.

Despite the increase in overall viewers, the show’s 18-49 demographic rating fell to 0.17, down 10.5 percent from last week. The drop came as Dynamite aired opposite an NBA game on ESPN that led cable for the night with 1.451 million viewers and a 0.43 demo rating.

Compared to the same week in 2024, Dynamite’s total audience was down 11.2 percent, and its key demo rating dropped 26.1 percent. However, those numbers do not reflect potential viewership gains from streaming on Max.

With ratings trends still fluctuating, AEW faces intense sports competition while pushing forward with key storylines leading to Dynasty.
