Becky Lynch WWE Return Still Uncertain, Says Seth Rollins

Published on

Despite being under contract, the former champion has no confirmed return date

Summary

– Becky Lynch has been off WWE TV since May 2024 despite re-signing with the company

– Seth Rollins confirmed she’ll return “when the timing is right” but gave no timeline

– Lynch reportedly sought contract terms allowing outside opportunities and brand control

Becky Lynch hasn’t stepped into a WWE ring in nearly a year, and while her return remains one of the most anticipated in recent memory, there’s still no confirmed date. In a recent interview with Front Office Sports, Seth Rollins addressed the situation, offering reassurance but no specifics.

“I don’t think we’ve seen the last of her in a WWE ring,” Rollins said. “But when the timing is right, she’ll be back.”

Lynch stepped away in May 2024 to pursue outside projects, including Hollywood opportunities. While her re-signing with WWE is official, she has not publicly discussed a timeline for her comeback.

Sources say part of the delay stemmed from both Lynch and Rollins changing agents. The couple signed with Adventure Media and worked to negotiate contracts with matching terms, including start dates, length, and flexibility for outside ventures. Lynch also pushed for greater control over the use of her in-ring name.

Although the business side appears settled, Lynch hasn’t been seen on WWE programming. She has appeared at Netflix-related events, but those outings were strictly supportive—not part of any WWE storyline.

With WrestleMania 41 approaching, speculation continues to swirl. Rollins’ comments suggest a return is planned, but fans hoping for a big moment may have to stay patient just a little longer.
