Cena Outlasts CM Punk, Seth Rollins, and More to Earn WWE Title Shot

Summary

– John Cena won the 2025 Men’s Elimination Chamber match, securing a title shot at WrestleMania 41

– CM Punk and Cena were the final two, with Punk passing out in the STF

– Seth Rollins, Logan Paul, Damian Priest, and Drew McIntyre were also in the match

The road to WrestleMania 41 took a major turn at WWE Elimination Chamber, as John Cena overcame five top superstars to secure an Undisputed WWE Championship match against Cody Rhodes.

The high-stakes match featured Cena, CM Punk, Drew McIntyre, Logan Paul, Damian Priest, and Seth Rollins. Drew McIntyre and Rollins started things off before Priest entered, followed by Logan Paul. Cena entered next, competing in what was billed as his final Elimination Chamber match.

McIntyre was the first eliminated after Priest caught him off guard with a pinfall. An angry McIntyre hit a Claymore Kick on Priest before leaving, opening the door for Logan Paul to land a high-risk Frog Splash from the top of CM Punk’s pod, eliminating Priest.

CM Punk was the last to enter, immediately going after Logan Paul. After a chaotic exchange, Punk pinned Logan following a GTS. That left Punk, Rollins, and Cena as the final three. Punk and Cena briefly worked together, hitting a Hart Attack in tribute to The Hart Foundation, before turning on each other. Cena delivered an AA, but Punk kicked out.

Rollins then took out Cena by launching him through a pod, leaving him dazed as he battled Punk one-on-one. After delivering a Buckle Bomb and a Stomp, Rollins looked set to win, but Cena recovered and hit an AA on Rollins, allowing Punk to eliminate him.

With only Punk and Cena left the intensity reached its peak. Punk hit a GTS, but Cena kicked out. Cena responded with an AA, but Punk refused to stay down. Before Punk could capitalize, Rollins returned and hit a Stomp, leaving Punk vulnerable so that Cena could lock in the STF. Punk passed out, and Cena was declared the winner.

With Cena now set to face Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship at WrestleMania 41, the road to WWE’s biggest event of the year just got even more intense.
