The new WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion prepares for a high-stakes match at Elimination Chamber

Summary

– Liv Morgan says joining The Judgment Day helped her gain confidence and elevate her career

– She embraced the challenge of fitting into the established faction alongside Rhea Ripley

– Morgan will compete in the Women’s Elimination Chamber match for a WrestleMania 41 title shot

Liv Morgan has been riding a wave of momentum since her return from injury, and her recent WWE Women’s Tag Team Title win alongside Raquel Rodriguez only adds to her growing success. In an interview with No-Contest Wrestling, Morgan discussed her journey, her experience joining The Judgment Day, and her upcoming Elimination Chamber match.

Morgan revealed that stepping into an already-established faction gave her an opportunity to refine her confidence and presence. “I had this newfound confidence from my time off that really helped elevate me. If you asked me what I was missing in the past, I’d say it was true confidence in myself as a full-fledged star,” Morgan said.

Reflecting on her time away due to injury, she acknowledged that it gave her a chance to grow. “That was the most time I ever had off since I started with WWE. I benefited from that and came back ready for whatever was going to happen,” she added.

Joining Judgment Day came with challenges, especially with Rhea Ripley already being a dominant presence in the group. “They’re such an established group, and I am the exact opposite of Rhea. But I like to think I’m a chameleon—I can be anywhere and make anything work. And look, it worked beautifully. I love The Judgment Day,” she said.

Morgan’s next test comes at WWE Elimination Chamber Toronto, where she will compete against Bianca Belair, Alexa Bliss, Bayley, Naomi, and Roxanne Perez. The winner will earn a Women’s World Championship opportunity at WrestleMania 41. The event takes place March 1 at the Rogers Centre in Toronto, airing live on Peacock in the U.S. and on Netflix internationally.
