Leon Slater and JDC clashed in a violent No Disqualification match on TNA Impact, continuing their heated rivalry that began months ago. JDC and The System had attempted to recruit Slater, treating him as a lackey, but Slater resisted, aligning himself with The Hardys. Thursday night’s match allowed Slater to fight back on his terms.

JDC, still frustrated after failing to win the NXT Heritage Cup, targeted Slater early, using weapons to brutalize the young star. Slater countered with high-flying offense, channeling The Hardys with a Swanton 450 through a table. However, just as he seemed poised for victory, The System struck, with Eddie Edwards, Brian Myers, and X-Division Champion Moose ambushing him.

The interference led to JDC securing the win, but the chaos didn’t end there. The Hardys rushed to Slater’s aid, setting up a brawl with The System. The crowd erupted as the numbers seemed against them as NXT Champion Oba Femi stormed into the Impact Zone. Femi wiped out The System, forcing Moose to retreat, leaving fans stunned by his unexpected arrival in TNA.

With Slater’s war against The System heating up and Oba Femi now in the mix, the road to Sacrifice became even more unpredictable.
