AEW Collision delivered a strong performance with its Grand Slam Australia episode on Saturday night, drawing 502,000 viewers on TNT. This marked a 29.7% increase from the previous week and the show’s best total audience since December 21, when it had a college football playoff game as its lead-in.
The 18-49 demo rating surged to 0.21, a massive 110% jump from last week. This ties for the third-highest rating in Collision history and is the show’s best number since July 29, 2023.
Collision aired outside its usual 8 p.m. Eastern time slot but benefited from a strong lead-in from the NBA All-Star Skills Competition. The opening tag match featuring Kenny Omega & Will Ospreay vs. Konosuke Takeshita & Kyle Fletcher averaged over one million viewers before viewership declined later in the night as the show ran past midnight.
With AEW seeing a major rebound in ratings, the question is whether the momentum can carry over into next week’s episode.
