AEW Dynamite Ratings Drop to Lowest Since Christmas

Viewership and 18-49 Demo See Declines Amidst Strong Competition

Summary

– AEW Dynamite averaged 579,000 viewers, a 4.3% drop from last week

– The 18-49 demo rating fell to 0.16, marking its lowest since November 27

– Year-over-year, overall viewership is down 28.6%, while the key demo is down 46.7%

AEW Dynamite’s latest pre-taped edition struggled in the ratings, drawing 579,000 viewers on TBS—a 4.3% drop from the previous week. This marks the show’s lowest total since Christmas night. The 18-49 demographic also hit, dropping 5.9% to a 0.16 rating, tying its lowest mark since November 27.

The decline came against stiff competition, with the NBA, college basketball, and the 4 Nations Face-Off hockey tournament all airing simultaneously. However, the biggest concern is the long-term trend. Compared to the same week in 2024, Dynamite’s total audience is down 28.6%, while its key demo rating has fallen by a staggering 46.7%—its worst year-over-year decline for a regularly scheduled episode since June 19, 2024.

AEW will need to regain momentum as it moves forward, but the challenge continues to grow with increasing competition and shifting viewership habits.
