The Scottish Warrior Criticizes Cena for Using Influence to Enter the Match
Summary
– Drew McIntyre defeats LA Knight and Jimmy Uso to qualify for the Men’s Elimination Chamber
– He calls out John Cena for politicking his way into the match
– McIntyre vows to earn his WrestleMania spot the right way
Drew McIntyre wasted no time impacting SmackDown, securing his spot in the Men’s Elimination Chamber by defeating LA Knight and Jimmy Uso. While celebrating his hard-fought victory, McIntyre aimed at John Cena, accusing him of using his influence to enter the match without earning it.
After SmackDown, McIntyre posted a video addressing his win, emphasizing that he wanted a fair chance. He pointed out the constant backstage politics on RAW and how difficult it is to remain honest in that environment. Unlike Cena, McIntyre made it clear that he would not talk his way into the match but rather fight for his opportunity.
“I’m not going to try to politic my way into the Elimination Chamber or use my stroke like Cena. I’m going to do it the right way—the Drew way,” McIntyre said, praising Jimmy Uso’s effort while calling out LA Knight for trying to force his way in.
Cena, who failed to win the Royal Rumble, announced his entry into the Chamber shortly after Jey Uso’s victory, adding another layer of tension between him and McIntyre. With McIntyre already winning last year’s Chamber match, all eyes are on whether he can repeat history and punch his ticket to WrestleMania 41.
I’m not gonna politic myself into the Chamber like John Cena
