Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows Hit Free Agency Again
Summary
– The Good Brothers have been released from WWE for a second time
– Their return in 2022 alongside AJ Styles never gained momentum
– Potential landing spots include NJPW, AEW, and TNA Wrestling
The roster cuts in WWE continue as Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows, better known as The Good Brothers, have been released. Fightful Select’s Sean Ross Sapp confirmed the news, marking the second time WWE has cut the tag team following their 2020 release.
After re-signing with WWE in October 2022, Anderson and Gallows reunited with AJ Styles as The O.C., but creative had no long-term plans for them. This led to long inactivity, and their departure now opens the door for new opportunities.
With their strong reputation in the tag team division, multiple promotions could be viable landing spots. NJPW remains a natural fit, given their Bullet Club history and past success as three-time IWGP Tag Team Champions. AEW also presents an option, considering their connections with The Young Bucks. TNA Wrestling is another strong possibility, as they previously held the Impact Tag Team Titles.
Their exit follows the confirmed releases of Isla Dawn, Akam & Rezar, Paul Ellering, Cedric Alexander, Sonya Deville, and Blair Davenport, signaling a significant shift in WWE’s roster.
