– He sees today’s wrestling industry as full of opportunities for success

Mustafa Ali parted ways with WWE in 2023 before making an impact in TNA last year. After a brief departure, he returned to the promotion, explaining why he felt TNA was the right choice for him.

Speaking with Jon Alba on The Takedown, Ali expressed that wrestling success often depends on timing and being in the right place. TNA was the right fit for him, offering a platform where he could thrive creatively.

“TNA was the right fit for me, and I was the right fit for TNA. In wrestling and entertainment, sometimes it’s about being in the right place at the right time for both parties.”

Ali also praised the industry’s current state, noting that wrestlers, staff, and even media covering the sport now have more opportunities than ever. He emphasized that success is within reach for those who take advantage of these options.

“I love that one roster has several options, several big-time options to go make big-time money, and not just the wrestlers. I’m talking about medical staff, producers, people behind the scenes, even people that cover the industry.”

One of the biggest reasons he chose TNA was the creative freedom. He felt that other promotions had a process that limited ideas, whereas in TNA, decisions happen quickly.

“The one thing I really enjoyed about my previous stint at TNA is that if I wanted an answer, if I wanted to do something, if I needed a ‘yes’ or ‘no,’ I knew who to talk to and would get that answer within minutes.”

Now, Ali can showcase his unique in-ring style and creative vision in TNA. Fans are eager to see what he brings to the company during this new era of TNA Wrestling.
