Tuesday’s WWE NXT saw a rise in total viewership, marking one of its strongest performances since moving to The CW.
Summary
– NXT drew 827,000 viewers, a 1.9 percent increase from last week
– The 18-49 demo rating dropped 13.6 percent but remained among the show’s top performances since October
– Viewership was up 27.6 percent from the same week last year, showing continued growth on The CW
WWE NXT continues to find stability on The CW, with this week’s episode drawing 827,000 viewers, up 1.9 percent from the prior week. This marks the highest audience total since October 8 and the third-best number since making the network switch.
However, NXT’s key demographic rating in 18-49 took a slight hit, falling 13.6 percent to 0.19. Despite the decline, it still ranked second-best since October and outperformed the final 90 minutes of NBC’s programming in head-to-head competition. The show, however, trailed behind the other three major networks.
The episode faced stiff competition, including an NBA matchup between the Los Angeles Lakers and Philadelphia 76ers on TNT, which pulled in 884,000 viewers and a 0.26 demo rating. Additionally, overlapping college basketball games on ESPN attracted over a million viewers and a 0.24 rating.
Compared to the same week in 2024, NXT has shown significant growth, with total viewership up 27.6 percent and the key demo rising 5.6 percent. The numbers indicate an older audience tuning in compared to its time on USA Network, but overall, NXT continues to build momentum on The CW.
