Emotional Transition as Vega Heads to the Blue Brand Solo
Summary
– Zelina Vega is officially moving to SmackDown as part of the transfer window
– The rest of the LWO, including Rey Mysterio, will remain on Raw
– Vega shared an emotional message, vowing to represent the LWO on SmackDown
Zelina Vega is making the jump to WWE SmackDown, but she won’t be bringing her LWO stablemates with her. During the January 27 episode of Raw, Michael Cole confirmed that Vega was being transferred to the blue brand ahead of Royal Rumble weekend. However, Rey Mysterio, Dragon Lee, Joaquin Wilde, and Cruz Del Toro are staying on Raw.
Following the announcement, Vega took to social media to express her emotions, posting a heartfelt picture with Mysterio. She admitted the move brought some tears but promised to carry the LWO’s legacy with her.
“I may have cried a little,” Vega wrote. “But Rey has taught me well, and I am forever grateful and honored. I’ll represent him and the LWO on SmackDown.”
Vega first aligned with the LWO in October 2022, when she returned to WWE alongside Legado del Fantasma. By March 2023, the group had officially rebranded under Mysterio’s leadership, cementing its place as an extension of the legendary Latino World Order. Vega’s SmackDown chapter begins, and fans are eager to see what’s next.
I might have cried a little after this picture bittersweet. You’ve taught me well @reymysterio and I will forever be grateful and so so honored.
I’ll be sure to rep you and #LWO over on #Smackdown @WWE pic.twitter.com/PnSWayn1wM
