– McDonagh expects to be out for a couple of months but remains optimistic
JD McDonagh has confirmed he sustained serious injuries during the January 27 edition of WWE Raw, revealing he suffered broken ribs and a punctured lung. The Judgment Day member took to social media to update fans, thanking them for their concern and assuring everyone that, despite the setback, things could have been much worse.
The injury happened during McDonagh and Dominik Mysterio’s World Tag Team Championship match against The War Raiders. While attempting a moonsault to the outside, McDonagh’s neck hit the announce table upon landing. Despite the injury, he finished the match, but The War Raiders retained after pinning Mysterio.
McDonagh expects to be out for a few months as he recovers. While the injury is a tough blow, his positive attitude suggests he’ll be back stronger than ever.
First off, thanks to everyone for the messages and the concern. I'm good.
I've got a couple of broken ribs and a punctured lung, so I'm going to be out for a couple months. All things considered, it could have been a lot worse, so I'm grateful for that.
See ya in a bit.
