The legendary voice confirms his return to WWE commentary
Summary
– Jesse Ventura announced he will be at Saturday Night’s Main Event in San Antonio
– His status had been unclear despite reports of a full-year schedule in 2025
– Ventura’s confirmation puts an end to speculation about his commentary role
Jesse Ventura just put any doubts to rest—he’s heading to Saturday Night’s Main Event this weekend in San Antonio, Texas. After speculation over his role, Ventura took to Twitter to confirm the news himself.
“So very excited for Saturday Night’s Main Event this weekend in San Antonio. The Body returns to Texas this Saturday Night!” he posted, making it clear he’s ready to step back behind the mic.
His status was uncertain despite earlier reports that he was set for every Saturday Night’s Main Event in 2025. Dave Meltzer noted that while WWE didn’t promote Ventura’s presence on RAW, he was still expected to be involved. “He was told he’s on all the shows in 2025, so if he’s off, it’s a detail within the last week and a half. They didn’t push him (on RAW), but he was told he was on every show.”
Now, straight from Ventura himself, there’s no more mystery. Fans can expect “The Body” on commentary this Saturday, and if WWE keeps him in the mix for the rest of the year, this could mark another extended run at the booth.
Jesse Ventura isn’t leaving fans guessing—he’s coming to Texas and bringing his unmistakable voice. Whether this is just another night of commentary or the beginning of something bigger, one thing is sure—when Ventura calls the action, things are never dull.
