Pro Wrestling Show Doubles Its 2024 U.S. Viewership Average
Summary
– WWE Monday Night Raw’s Netflix debut drew 2.6 million U.S. households, more than double its 2024 average
– Worldwide, the show achieved 4.9 million views across Netflix territories
– WWE’s partnership with Netflix marks the platform’s largest foray into live programming
The Netflix premiere of WWE Monday Night Raw delivered impressive results, drawing 2.6 million households in the U.S., according to VideoAmp data. This figure doubles the 2024 average of 1.2 million households when the show aired on USA Network. Among adults 18-49, Raw also doubled its 2024 performance.
Globally, Raw amassed 4.9 million views across territories where Netflix distributes the show, including Canada, the U.K., and Australia. While not record-breaking by Netflix standards, this marks a strong start for WWE’s flagship program on the streaming platform. WWE programming isn’t yet available on Netflix in 92 countries, including France, Germany, and Japan, limiting its current reach.
Netflix’s $5 billion partnership with WWE is its biggest move into live programming. Beyond weekly Raw episodes, the streamer is the exclusive distributor of WWE premium live events and other shows like SmackDown and NXT in several international markets.
