Liv Morgan’s WWE journey is one of perseverance and evolution. From her days as part of the Riott Squad to her reign as WWE Women’s World Champion, Morgan has consistently showcased her passion and dedication to the industry.
In a recent interview with The Ringer Wrestling Show, Morgan fondly reflected on her time with the Riott Squad. Formed in 2017 alongside Ruby Riott (now Ruby Soho) and Sarah Logan (now Valhalla), the trio became a force to be reckoned with on Raw and SmackDown.
“I’m proud of all of my time with the Riott Squad. I built such a relationship with those girls, and we were thrown into this group, working so hard to make it great,” Morgan shared. “It was some of the most fun times of my career. We worked every single TV, every single live event—we were just on the go.”
The bond between the three extended beyond the ring, creating lifelong friendships. “I’m really proud of the work rate we did together but also what we did together—the friendships, the bond,” Morgan added.
While Morgan continues thriving as a singles competitor, Ruby Soho and Valhalla are currently away from the ring. Soho recently welcomed her first child, while Valhalla is expecting her second.
The Riott Squad’s legacy lives on through Liv Morgan’s successes and the enduring connection between its members, proving their impact on WWE’s women’s division remains significant.
